On January 18, 2024, at around 11:00 am, behind the Stadium gallery located in BBI Playground, Dharmanagar, today we the Para Legal Volunteers of District Legal Services Authority, North Tripura, Dharmanagar visit the North Tripura District Hospital to gather detailed information about the monstrous incident that happened to a boy named Sagar Shuklabaidya and to provide necessary legal assistance to the victim Sagar Shuklabaidya and his family. Also, hold detailed discussions with the victim and his family and provide necessary administrative support. The victim Sagar Shuklabaidya is in critical condition and has been shifted to Agartala GB Hospital for further treatment.

After talking to the Investigation Officer of this case of Dharmanagar police station, we come to know that a case has been registered at Dharmanagar Police Station on 18th January, 2024, and two of the four main accused have been arrested and produced in the court, and they are currently in jail custody. Other accused are absconding.
