Today (25.06.2018) around 2.30 PM I have got a call from a residence of Chandrapur, Dharmanagar regarding with domestic violence related issue. As per statement of the victim, her husband is an over alcoholic and due to this, he abused the victim every now and then. She is suffering physical and mental abused by her husband for last 10 years. As earliest I reach their home and discussed the relevant matter and provided needful assistance to the victim as required by law and also assured her to provide hands-on support as required by the time.
