Today (23.04.2018) I have visited the resident of Sri: Bhanu Nath of
Sripur GP, Ward No: 06, under Juborajnagar RD Block. He is a victim of a
road accident in August 2017 and he lost his left leg due to this
accident and became 80% disabled Certified by District Disabled
Rehabitation Centre, Unakoti District. More than six months ago he
applied for Disabled Pension through the Gram Panchayat and Compassion
from Labour Department through, District Labour Office, Dharmanagar but
surprisingly till date he didn’t get any response from the concerned
authority. I had a brief talk with his family and subsequently, I have
consoled his family to provide all the possible support as needed.
